Inspirer: Frank Ockenfels

These past 6 weeks have been some of my busiest ever. I hated to ruin last week's momentum, but I had no choice but to focus on my photography work. You can check out some sneak peeks over on my FB Photography page, if you like! :)

Nothing helps me stay focused better than watching an inspiring video about a rad photographer. Frank Ockenfels is brilliant! I love his work and quite possibly his journals even more.

What an inspiring video... and man. I love that quote about failure. We were watching Survivor (yes... we're one of the few that STILL watch :)) last night, and one of the 'less physical' contestants gets really down on himself about his performance in the challenges. I told Ryan that he needs to realize just how inspiring and courageous he is for even going on the show (and focus on his many other strengths) instead of being so hard on himself. Anyways, the quote reminded me of that :).

Thanks Kim, for posting. I hadn't heard of him before but heart his work and philosophy.
